INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR SALT LAKE RESEARCH
Saline lakes have a considerable economic, ecological, and scientific value. In 1994 it was founded the International Society for Salt Lake Research (ISSLR) to enable its members to receive continuing education, build professional networks, and present findings from resear into Salt Lakes. In addition, conferences and meetings are held to establish effective liaison between persons interested in any aspect of inland saline waters, and to educate the public in the scientific use, management, and conservation of salt lakes. The ISSLR is committed to providing a harassmentfree environment for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, physical appearance, ethnicity, religion or other group identity.
